Two of the 25-piece PTFE listings use these words, and they are not the same product.
One is described as PTFE hydrophobic-type, at 13 mm and 25 mm, with pore sizes that include 0.22, 0.45, and 2.0 µm. Another PTFE listing uses the word hydrophilic, also at 13 mm and 25 mm, with pore sizes that include 0.22, 0.45, and 1.2 µm.
Hydrophobic, in this wording, means the membrane is the type described as resisting wetting by water. Hydrophilic means the type described as wetting with water. The words are on the titles so you can tell the two groups apart before you add one to the cart.
They are not a test report. They do not say the filter suits a named solvent or a named sample. If the question is whether this option is the one for the job in front of you, the title has not answered it. Write first. Name the product, the option, and what you are filtering.
