Usage: It is used for sample pre-filtration, clarification and strain filtration of particle, liquid and gas.

Material Introduction:
Water-system MCE (mixed cellulose ester) : MCE membrane is made of nitric acid and cellulose acetate. It has hydrophilic properties, good biocompatibility and low protein adsorption properties. MCE membranes are commonly used for filtration of biological solutions, biological analysis and water quality monitoring.

Water-system PES (polyethersulfone) : PES membrane has an asymmetric porous structure in its cross section to ensure high flow rate and high rejection. Used for filtration of water solution. It has good chemical stability and inert, alkaline PH stability, high compatibility and good temperature stability.

Nylon: Nylon films are naturally hydrophilic and are made of polyamide. Use without wetting agent, to ensure that the filtrate is not contaminated. The filter membrane is suitable for the filtration of aqueous solution and most mild organic solutions, especially alkaline and alcohol solutions. Due to the high absorbability of nylon membrane, it is generally not recommended to be used for filtration of biological samples such as culture medium or protein solution, in order to avoid the loss of samples due to adsorption.

PTFE: PTFE is a relatively stable material, which can filter water, organic solution, strong acid and alkali solution (not suitable for trichloroethylene, gasoline, hexane, etc.). It can be used for clarification and filtration of samples for experiment, liquid chromatography injection and filtration, etc.

When selecting the syringe filter, in addition to considering the use of suitable filtration membrane according to different filtrate, but also consider the volume of the sample, usually less than 2ml sample, the selection of 4mm diameter of the micro filter. The sample size is between 2-10ml, and 13mm diameter filter is selected. When the sample size is greater than 10ml, use 25mm diameter syringe filter.

Note:

1. Do not use syringes smaller than 10cc, because the small volume of the column tube may cause the pressure to exceed the upper limit, resulting in the destruction of the filter membrane and personal injury.

2. Only laboratory use, one-time use, can not be reused.

3. Should discard the beginning of the filtrate, the volume is about the dead volume of the filter, 25mm as an example, probably discard the first 1ml filtrate, or pre-clean the filter with 1-2ml of solution.
